Samsung Enhances Game Booster Features with One UI 7 Beta 3 Update

Galaxy fans have been enjoying the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 version, as this newbie brings numerous new and impressive features and improvements. Two beta builds have already been distributed for the Galaxy S24 series owners; the third One UI 7 beta version is all about various changes and improvements; one such is within Game Booster.
Samsung has also added a few impressive functionalities that are now coming to light right after installing the One UI 7 Beta 3 update.
Previously, it’s been covered that the newest build brings quick access to the apps and widget styles. Now, while the gaming hub is getting improved, Samsung brings even more improvements within the Game Booster for offering flexibility to the gamers while gameplay. This is something that the company has already claimed, and now it has started delivering.

Promised and now delivered! With the One UI 7 Beta 3 update, Samsung has offered a few improvements for the Game Booster. From now on, it will allow Galaxy users to set their default scanning rate to 120Hz. However, earlier users have the limit to set it for up to 60Hz to prevent more power consumption.

Alternatively, the new update further adds a new screen playback setting that has been set to default while also updating the FPS settings by renaming Standard with Balanced option that can be found under Game Optimization and its maximum value. Therefore, these improvements in the Game Booster will add an additional layer of immersive experience for the users and offer smoother gaming and animations.
Let’s recall that Samsung kicked off the journey of its most anticipated One UI 7 version on December 5th that brought about a host of new features and changes, which was then followed with the second beta phase on 16th December, 2024, and delivered various bug fixes and other relevant improvements.
The third One UI 7 beta, which is all about introducing even more bug fixes and improvements, could perform more changes and enhancements in the future as the One UI 7 version is still running in its beta phase.
