Samsung is now rolling out the March 2025 security update for its foldable series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Flip 5.
The March patch for all four models is now available in some European countries, including Italy and the UK; it will follow the other eligible regions shortly.
Meanwhile, the update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 comes with the F956BXXS2AYB2 and F741BXXS2AYB2 build numbers, respectively, while the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 have F946BXXS5DYB3 and F731BXXS5DYB3 version numbers, respectively.
Since the security patches play a crucial role in maintaining the device’s security and core functionality, they, however, don’t bring any major features and changes; rather, they focus on improving the device’s security by integrating a lot of fixes that were addressed in the previous version that will eventually lead to a more safe and secure user experience that further protects the device against potential threats.
Accompanied by the patches, the latest software update also adds stability and reliability to the system behavior for efficient functionality while also bringing performance optimizations for a smooth and optimized experience.
