One UI 7 Optimizes App Usage on Galaxy Z Flip 5 & Flip 6 Cover Display

Indeed Samsung’s latest software skin, One UI 7 that runs Android 15 over the top, has improved a lot of functionalities, while also integrating numerous new features that apparently help users to have a more interactive experience. Meanwhile, a new report suggests that the new software is changing the way users run certain apps on the Galaxy Z Flip’s cover screen.

One UI 7 makes Galaxy Z Flip Cover display use more convenient

Substantially, Samsung has put limitations on certain apps that will only run on the cover (outer) screen of its Flip folding smartphones, beginning with Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Flip 6.

Therefore in order to run or add more apps you need to go through a complicated process of configuring the Good Lock’s suitable module.

According to reports presented by Android Central, One UI 7 totally, opposes this hustle and takes a step forward in refining the Galaxy Flip foldable user’s experience by adding a new button under the Apps allowed on the cover screen settings, which will certainly allow users to run additional apps on their Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Flip 6’s cover screen by simply downloading and installing MultiStar module.

Moreover, One UI 7 apparently improves the usability of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Flip 6’s cover display with the addition of this new button.

Alternatively, One UI 7 beta build is currently available for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 owners, while it will be interesting to see how Samsung optimizes apps on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 as it’s rumoured to have a comparatively bigger cover screen.
