Samsung continues to roll out the March 2025 security update, with a few major Galaxy devices already receiving the patch. The update hit the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, and Galaxy S24 series a few hours ago; meanwhile, Galaxy Z Flip 5 units are now getting the security patch.
While the company is currently delivering the latest March 2025 security update in its home country, South Korea, another device, the Galaxy Flip 5 foldable, has started receiving the update in the same region and carries the F731NKSS5DYBE build number.

Meanwhile, as per the March 2025 security patch bulletin, the latest software, however, doesn’t mention any new features and changes; rather, it simply focuses on improving the device’s security and core functionality while also delivering the best possible experience to the users.
It significantly integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version so that users must have a safer and more secure user experience and protects the device against potential risks and threats. At the same time, the update further adds stability to the device’s behavior and brings performance optimizations for smooth and efficient functionality.
For now, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 owners are getting the March patch, while the update will be available for Z Fold 5 units in a while.
