Right after dispatching the latest March 2025 security update for almost all of its Galaxy smartphones and tablets, Samsung is now looking forward to expanding the patch to more regions; meanwhile, the company’s mid-tier devices, the Galaxy A53 and A54 units, have started receiving the update.
The March 2025 security patch for the Galaxy A53 and A54 is now available in Europe; however, the software has already hit a few North American countries, like Mexico, a few days ago and will be moved forward to more countries in the coming days.
The latest firmware for the Galaxy A53 is identified with the A536BXXSDEYB9 build number, while on the other hand, the Galaxy A54 comes with the A546BXXSBCYB7 version number.
Specifically, the security patches are significantly meant to improve and enhance the device’s overall security and core functionality; however, they don’t introduce any major features and changes. It integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version in order to provide a more safe and secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.
Also, the update further ensures more efficient functionality by introducing several performance optimizations and adding stability to the entire system behavior for a stable and smooth experience.
