Key Highlights

  • Redesigned UI: One UI 7.0 splits notifications and the Quick Panel into two separate pages for cleaner access. A new app icon design, playful animations, and a modernized battery icon refresh the look.
  • Enhanced Customization: Stock apps feature streamlined interfaces, while new widget styles and lock screen/home screen widgets offer greater personalization.
  • Galaxy AI Upgrades: Improved on-device AI tools for note-taking, translation, and image editing.
  • Performance & Security: Smoother multitasking, faster app launches, and the April 2025 patch to address vulnerabilities.
  • Charging Animation: A revamped full-screen animation when plugging in.

To check for the update:

  1. Open the Settings app on your tablet.
  2. Navigate to Software Update.
  3. Tap Download and Install.

If the update appears, ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has at least 50% battery before proceeding. For users preferring a computer, Samsung’s Smart Switch desktop tool can also apply the update via USB.
