One UI 8 to bring fresh notification animation and security settings page UI

Samsung is allegedly reported to be preparing its next major OS, One UI 8, and thus, the company will surprise the entire Galaxy community by beginning the One UI Beta program by May. Well, the development process is already underway; a fresh leak just hit online, suggesting new changes via the latest One UI 8 beta build.

As per the latest leak offered by the X user, DevOfIpos, a new One UI 8 Beta build carrying a build number, ZYEF, just flashed online running on the Galaxy S25 models on the test servers.

Diving deep into the latest beta version, it was discovered that Samsung is supposed to bring some significant changes with the One UI 8 build, where the first leak points out an all-new notification opening animation that is supposed to be making its way to the eligible Galaxy phones with the next upcoming update.

At first sight, it seems like it’s spotted that the notifications are supposed to open in a new way when tapping on the notifications bar, offering a more enhanced yet interactive user experience.

On the other hand, the user further leaked that the security and privacy page UI could get a minor but more noticeable change. When compared to the previous version (say, One UI 7), the refreshed security and privacy main UI looks more impressive with icons and tiles neatly arranged after one another.

Also, the security scan bar placed right at the top has a neater look, while the spacing between the bar and the other tabs has been reduced, while also adding a new section that is labeled as Security. All in all, the revamped security and privacy page UI looks neater and clearer than before. Moreover, it was also spotted that the Now Brief feature could receive a Listen Brief function, allowing users to listen to briefs for the entire day without looking at the device.

However, this remains just a leak, while hopefully, such and more new changes and enhancements could make it to the Galaxy devices with the One UI 8 update.
