Galaxy S25 series receives the May 2025 security patch in Europe

Samsung Galaxy S25 series finally started receiving the latest May 2025 security patch in Europe, following the US, South Korea and Canada.

The new security patch for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra has now expanded to European countries like Germany and can be identified with the build numbers S931BXXS3AYDA, S936BXXS3AYDA and S938BXXS3AYDA, respectively.

More specifically, as usual, the latest May security patch; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It integrates a host of fixes brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Beyond this, the latest update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behaviour, and brings certain performance optimisations that lead to a smoother, stable and efficient experience for the users.
Well, Samsung appears to have already initiated the testing of its next major OS, One UI 8, within a few Galaxy devices, with the Galaxy S25 being the most recent one. Hopefully, One UI 8 may arrive on the right time as the stable Android 16 is almost ready to take the centre stage by June 2025.
