One UI 7 offers Galaxy users more controls over battery consumption

Samsung is more specific when it comes to preserving its Galaxy phone’s battery by offering some key power-saving options; however, these options remained unchanged till One UI 6, but now, with One UI 7, Samsung has integrated a few additional customisations, providing Galaxy users more control in preventing more power consumption.

Basically, going back, Samsung initially introduced only two options, Power saving and Ultra Power saving mode before One UI 3 was released, while things began changing when One UI 3 brought up various toggles that allowed Galaxy users to enable or disable specific toggles of power saving mode individually.

These toggles include options such as Limit CPU speed at 70%, Turn off 5G, Decrease brightness by 10%, Limit apps and Home screen, and lastly, Turn off Always On Display.

Samsung Power Saving options

This pattern remained unchanged till One UI 6 and now, One UI 7 brings a few new functionalities that will enhance the power or battery saving capabilities of the Galaxy devices, catering to the user’s needs. This time, users have options, including Turn off Dark Mode, Set motion smoothness to standard, and Set screen timeout to 30 seconds.

With that said, Samsung’s One UI 7 now provides more flexibility to choose more preferred options in order to preserve their phone’s battery and improve its efficiency. Well, the One UI 7 stable rollout is still under progress to reach more eligible Galaxy devices in different regions, and more will be added to the list shortly.
