One UI 8 to introduce a fresh makeover to Samsung Reminder app’s UI

Samsung is reportedly working on the next OS, One UI 8 for a while now, with the latest build constantly being in the headlines across the internet. Meanwhile, a fresh report just revealed that One UI 8 will provide a makeover to the Samsung Reminder app.
It looks like Samsung is planning to offer a new design to the Reminder app. Well, the X user, Theordysm, revealed that the Samsung Reminder app will get a refreshed UI design that will offer a more interactive experience to the users.
The post showcases a few key aspects that look different from the original UI design of the Reminder app. The Categories section located on the app’s home screen simply ditches the hamburger menu and is now placed at the top of the main UI, which makes it more convenient to use.

At the same time, the Categories section looks more sorted than before, as they now appear in different cards, including Scheduled, Important, Place, No alert, Completed, and Today. Also, scrolling the main page will minimize the categories and their names will be hidden.
Beyond this, the text field placed at the bottom also gets a slight makeover, which is now bigger and sophisticated. The plus sign gets merged into the field at the left side, and a microphone is placed at the right corner, allowing users to simply read aloud the reminder they need to set.
All in all, the overall redesign looks promising and is expected to offer a more convenient, sophisticated and intuitive user experience at the same time. Well, One UI 8 is yet to enter into the public beta phase and is currently in its early stages of development, therefore such leaks could not be considered entirely true at this point in time.
