One UI 8

What’s new in Samsung’s One UI 8 notification and quick panel

Samsung’s One UI 8 looks much smoother! Samsung is cooking up something very interesting and exciting with One UI 8, and it’s just got cleaner, faster and way more sophisticated than before. With the very first beta update we have already started getting fluidity in the quick panel and notification; here’s a short glimpse.

Reports have already been claiming that Samsung has already begun the internal testing of One UI 8 beta build on the Galaxy S25 series, at the same time, the latest beta shows off the smoothness of Quick panel and Notification animations.

More specifically, One UI 8 brings sleek new animation upgrades that are supposed to offer a massive difference when used on a regular basis. However, Samsung has already revamped the notification and quick panel in One UI 7, but One UI 8 has refined the overall experience and now they are silky smooth than before!

First up, the Quick Panel receives an exciting glow-up, when swiping down to access the quick panel, you know the part where you need to tap the toggle like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and more as they are now more polished and refined for a quick and convenient access. At the same time, the quick panel now has fresh new animations, which feels smoother and offers a premium vibe to the entire UI.

Beyond this, One UI 8 adds stunning fluidity to the Notifications as well, especially when opening notifications. Now, tapping on a notification pops it up smoothly and opens on the entire screen with a clean new animation. It’s a small rather impactful change that eventually modernizes the whole user experience, while also boosting the overlap feel and speed of the phone.

Well, it’s noticeable that Samsung’s One UI 8 is currently running in its early beta stages, but this could be a sign that Samsung is working continuously to enhance and refine the One UI experience even further.
