Android 16 Arrives Today! makes way to One UI 8 for Galaxy devices

Google showcased a slight glimpse regarding the Android 16 final release, hinting its arrival on June 10, 2025. On the comparison side, it looks like Samsung’s One UI 8 could be released earlier than expected.
Since Google recently took it to the X via the Android Developers account, in order to inform that its next major Android OS, Android 16 is almost ready to arrive on the podium, while also revealing that it’s high time for the Android 16’s final (stable) release, suggesting the arrival on June 10, 2025.
Impressively, Google has already claimed earlier that Android 16’s development is on a perfect track and could hit its natural launch timeline of June month. After months of testing via developer beta and other public beta builds, Google is all ready to set the stage for Android phone owners. Well, stable Android 16 will first arrive for the Pixel devices, followed by other Android partners.
Beyond this, the latest Android 16 version looks promising, with one of highlights being the newly-showcased Material 3 Expressive design, adorable overall UI and more.
On the comparison side, Samsung is currently progressing smoothly with the One UI 8 build, with the Galaxy S25 series already being testing the first beta in a few selective countries. The latest One UI build is currently looking on time, and the rollout progress remains constant, then it’s possible that Samsung will release its software as early as users could think.
Also, Samsung has already confirmed that its upcoming Z generation foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are all set to debut with One UI 8, out of the box, while the launch is scheduled for July’s Galaxy Unpacked event. Thus, it could happen that One UI 8 will arrive in July, at least for Galaxy S25 series.
