One UI 8 Watch Beta showcases first glimpse of Now Bar on Galaxy Watch

Samsung just opened up the first beta program of One UI 8 Watch, beginning with the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultramodels, and it will then be followed by more eligible Galaxy Watches later. While the update packs a handful of features and changes, a recent report shows fans a slight glimpse of Now Bar on a Watch model running One UI 8 Watch.

Initially, Now Bar significantly and exclusively made its way to the Galaxy smartphones with One UI 7, where Samsung offered an all-new notification system that gave the ability to check all the key notifications right on the lock screen or AOD without unlocking the phone. Now, the Now Bar shines on Galaxy Watches as well.

With Samsung already moving forward to expanding the Now Bar feature for Galaxy watches as well, One UI 8 Watch perhaps became a medium with which Samsung introduced Now Bar on its watches. At the same time, a tipster, DalgleishGX, shared a few pictures that show a glimpse of a Galaxy Watch running Now Bar via One UI 8 Watch.

The first ever glimpse of Now Bar playing on the watch looks very promising and exciting at the same time. Beyond this, the picture apparently shows that Now Bar is placed in the center at the bottom of the watch face in a pill-shaped capsule. But the best part is that users will have the option to choose how they want each app to appear on the Now Bar, from either a pill-shaped capsule or only the app icon.

Well, currently, Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra units are testing One UI 8 Watch beta; therefore, for now, they will only be able to experience this exciting Now Bar addition on their watches, while gradually more eligible watch models will join the list in the coming future.
