Galaxy Z Flip 7’s hands-on video leaked ahead of launch

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 this week at the Unpacked event. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s hands-on video has now surfaced online.
Samsung will hold the summer Unpacked event this week on July 9 to debut a bunch of new foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The event will take place in New York at 10 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. BST, and 4 p.m. CET. You can join the live stream on the company’s official platforms, including Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and the YouTube channel
A few days back, the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s first real-life images appeared online, and now its sibling’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, hands-on video has leaked. A tipster, Andrei_eclynoh (via), shared a video post on his X handle, revealing the Flip 7’s edge-to-edge cover screen.

The video reveals that the specific area on the cover screen, next to the cameras, primarily displays the date and time. It also includes a white dot, which possibly indicates unread notifications. It seems that the main cover screen area is dynamic with widgets and pages; this particular section is reserved for essential, persistent details.

It could be possible that the area will also be used to display the Now Bar when supported activities, for instance, music playback and timer countdown, are running. The inner display of the device measures 6.9-inch which is bigger than the previous models.
Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is 0.8mm thinner while folded and 0.4mm thinner while unfolded as compared to its predecessor Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, the official look of the device has yet to be revealed, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked details will come into existence.
