Samsung is continuing with the ongoing August 2025 security update for all of its eligible devices; meanwhile, two of its Galaxy A series models, the Galaxy A54 and A25, are getting the update.
It looks like Samsung has shifted its focus to the Galaxy A series’ phones after updating the flagship models, and therefore the August update is now available for the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A25 units currently in the home country, South Korea, and is expected to reach more eligible countries shortly.
More specifically, the latest security firmware for the Galaxy A54 comes with A546SKSSCDYH1, while the update for the Galaxy A25 is identified with the version number A256NKSS6CYG1.
At the same time, as usual, Samsung’s monthly Android security bulletin is primarily meant to strengthen and increase the entire system safety, rather than introducing some major features and changes. Similarly, the latest August 2025 security update packs a host of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous versions in order to offer a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.
In addition, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations for a smooth, stable, and more efficient experience to the users.
Well, Samsung is currently working on expanding One UI 8 Beta for other older-generation Galaxy phones, with the Galaxy S24 alongside Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 owners already testing One UI 8 Beta 1, and it remains to be seen when Samsung’s ongoing One UI 8 beta program will reach more Galaxy devices.
