Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Gets Ready for One UI 8 Beta 2 Release

Samsung’s One UI 8 has been in the headlines for a while now! It’s highly impressive that the company is progressing on time with its newest Android 16-based One UI 8 version, perhaps due to adopting Google’s Trunk Stable development model for timely release. Meanwhile, it looks like Samsung is ready to release yet another beta build for the Galaxy S24 family.

While the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra owners are already testing the first One UI 8 beta build, a new report flashes online, claiming that Samsung appears to be preparing the Galaxy S24 models for the One UI 8 beta 2 version.

Specifically, the tipster, Tarun, via X, revealed that an all-new One UI 8 beta build for the Galaxy S24 series has been spotted running on the internal test servers and is identified with the version number, ZYH9, which is different from the previous One UI 8 beta build (ZYH3). This suggests that One UI 8 beta 2 for the S24 models is already under development, and Samsung is perhaps planning to release it next week.

Nevertheless, Samsung has already started implementing the expansion of the latest One UI 8 Beta program, from the Galaxy S24 series alongside Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models, which will then be followed by more eligible Galaxy devices sequentially in the coming future.

Well, the stable One UI 8 version is officially scheduled to be released in September for the Galaxy S25 series, which is currently testing One UI 8 Beta 5. However, previous reports also hint that the S25 family might get the sixth beta build, but at the same time, we need to wait for Samsung’s official One UI 8 rollout progress plans.
