Samsung Quick Share with iPhone Integration Still in Development at Apple

Samsung and Google work together when it comes to refinements and redesigning of the Android ecosystem. While Samsung, for a long time, has had its own Quick Share functionality, Google has recently replaced its Nearby Share with Quick Share. Also, Google has been developing Quick Share for iOS and macOS for a long time; however, the company is still working on the same, but it appears to be arriving sooner or later than expected!
As of now, due to lack of sharing capability, Android phones and PCs are currently unable to share files with iPhones and Macs; meanwhile, a new report via Android Authority suggests that Google has presented further evidence that the company is still working on bringing Quick Share ability for iPhones.

More specifically, the source stated that they dived into the latest version, v25.34.31 of Google Play Services beta, and just found some new string codes that represent a slight hint that Google is still continuing with developing Quick Share for iPhones. At the same time, the string also decodes that users will perhaps need to sign in to share their desired files with Apple devices.
Interestingly, the menu, which is allowing Android owners to share their files with iPhone owners, only works when the user is signed in with a Google Account; Android never asks for it and lets users use Quick Share without a Google Account. With that, Samsung Galaxy owners too have their version of Quick Share, which eventually suggests that they would perhaps be able to share their files with iPhone owners using Quick Share.
Well, if this report is to be believed, then Google is making efforts towards making it more efficient, convenient, and easier when sharing files across different platforms.
Also, it will further break the reliance on brand-specific file-sharing apps that remain dedicated to a certain brand, making it difficult to transfer files to more phones across the Android ecosystem.
