Galaxy A36 Gets Android 16 and One UI 8 Beta: Registration Now Live

Impressively, Samsung has started initiating the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy A36 owners, following other devices in the Galaxy A series, such as the A55, A54, and A35 models.
The latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta Program is now available for the Galaxy A36 units and is currently spotted in India with the new version number, A366EXXU4ZYHD.
It’s expected that the update will reach more eligible countries in the coming future. Therefore, interested people can enroll in the One UI 8 beta program via the Samsung Members app.
Since the first One UI 8 beta update for the Galaxy A36 units carries a software installation size of over 2GB, the software doesn’t seem to be huge enough to hold various One UI 8 features for this mid-tier model. At the same time, the One UI 8 Beta program is the opportunity to test out several new features and enhancements ahead of the stable release, while also providing your feedback and suggestions to Samsung during the beta program.

Further, the One UI 8 beta program offers an early look at the latest One UI version and certain essential features of Android 16. Also, the update not only brings a bunch of key bug fixes but also packs some exciting new features alongside more upgraded productivity, security, and accessibility.
Well, Samsung is currently on a full swing to expand its One UI 8 beta program to more older Galaxy devices; it looks like this week is supposed to be important in terms of beta release. And with the stable One UI 8 scheduled for this month, the company could drop the stable update anytime soon, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series, while other Galaxy devices will test beta builds at the same time.
