Google seems to considering to drop GameSnacks collection from Android Auto

Android Auto is one of Google’s best services, and it is considered the best driving companion that allows users to focus on the road while driving, taking your in-car entertainment to the next level.

Meanwhile, a new report suggests that the Android Auto platform is evolving and might bring some big changes, which users will certainly not like anyway.

It’s been quite some time since Google announced that Android Auto is prepared, where users will be able to play certain Android games on the car’s display when the vehicle is parked. However, recent news by 9To5Google revealed that the company is perhaps looking towards dropping its GameSnacks collection, an HTML5-based game that is built for car displays, via the latest updates.

Specifically, several users have started noticing that GameSnacks is not available on the Android Auto app launcher, but users can still view the games collection through the launcher settings. However, it’s reported that this situation is arising with the beta version of the Android Auto app, with the most recent one being Android Auto 15.2, which is currently in its beta stage.

Other than that, other users reported that they have been getting an alert regarding GameSnacks, which says that the collection will only be used when the car is parked, showing an error.

At the same time, there is still no information on whether Google has moved forward to remove the problem with the stable versions of Android Auto; hopefully, it does. Therefore, users need to wait for the official confirmation by Google, as Android Auto’s latest stable update is now available for all the users now.
