Samsung TVs get a new SQUASHTV app globally

Samsung TV owners, especially those who prefer watching sports, now have a new novelty to enhance their watching experience, as the TV is getting a new SQUASHTV app.

Right after the recent launch of a standalone Perplexity app for Samsung Smart TVs, the SQUASHTV app is now officially available globally. It offers at least 2,000 matches from over 35 PSA Quash Tour events.

The SQUASHTV app is compatible with 2024 and 2025 Samsung TV models; however, it’s expected that the app will expand to include older models in the future. The eligible owners can easily download the app directly from the Samsung TV app store for free. The app shows various kinds of content, for instance, live content, extended highlights, expert analysis, and exclusive feature pieces (like behind-the-scenes access and athlete stories).

Regarding this new app, Dan Harvie, Vice President of TV at Samsung UK and Ireland, stated, “SQUASHTV is another great addition to our range of value-added services that we offer to our customers. By enabling free access to live sports such as squash, American football, rugby, wrestling, and women’s football, we are providing customers with the option to personalize their sporting preferences, delivering extra value alongside a premium viewing experience.”

Notably, the US and Ireland customers have a great chance to take an exclusive offer by purchasing a new Samsung TV; they will get three months of free SQUASHTV access. However, there’s a limitation, as this promotional freebie is available on select TV models purchased through Samsung’s Made for UK offer.
