Samsung always aims to provide regular updates for its Galaxy devices, and the company almost gets successful in achieving it, but it somewhat failed due to the restrictions in the United States. Last month the company rapidly updated several Galaxy devices with June 2023 security patch; however, the update didn’t reach all of the eligible devices.

Currently, June 2023 is rolled out for both 5G and LTE variants of Galaxy A51 devices. Users who own Galaxy A51 LTE can identify the latest update by the firmware version A515USQUAFWF3 on Sprint’s network. While the 5G variant is getting the same update on three different networks, including Metro PCS, Sprint, and T-Mobile networks in the US, with firmware version number A516 USQ DGW F1.

For your information, the June 2023 security update includes over 50 patches which bring several enhancements to the internal functions of the devices. Simply, the latest update doesn’t include any innovation for the UI. It only improves the backend of the devices.

If you are a Samsung Galaxy A51 user from the USA, now you can install the June 2023 update on your devices. To install it, you can simply tap on the notification, which is available at the top of the notification panel; in case you didn’t receive the notification yet, you can also install it manually by going to the software update menu through the system settings.
