Samsung Foldable Phones Outsell Galaxy Note Series in Europe

Samsung’s new set of foldables has been met with great anticipation since its announcement, and all of the excitement is reflected in the foldables market’s sales. The chief of Samsung’s mobile business, TM Roh, stated in an interview with CNET that before the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, sales of the company’s foldable models were virtually on par with those of the Galaxy Note models it used to sell annually in the world. The Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 were intended to help the firm surpass its goal of beating the sales of the Galaxy Note series.
Because of poor sales and a change in emphasis towards foldable smartphones, the manufacturer discontinued the Galaxy Note series. To the disappointment of many admirers of the old-fashioned phones, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was the final model that was released from the Note series. In Europe, sales of Samsung’s most recent foldable phones have surpassed those of the Galaxy Note line on an annual basis. The leaflets are doing well in European regions, outpacing the Note series in yearly sales.
Samsung’s chief marketing officer for Europe, Benjamin Braun, said at a press conference at IFA 2023, Our latest foldable phones are selling super fast. In fact, the annual sales of our foldable devices have exceeded those of the Note series in Europe. However, the most recent foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, have not yet been given official sales numbers. Given that IFA 2023 is centered on the area, Samsung may have achieved this goal internationally, but it only opted to discuss its European results. Maybe in the coming weeks, we can expect the firm to announce sales numbers in other nations.
