Galaxy Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 start getting March 2024 security patch in Europe

Samsung recently rolled out the March 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 devices, but it was limited to the US. Now, with the expansion, the company has started expanding the update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 devices in Europe.

Notably, the European units of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are starting to roll out the update for the devices with firmware version numbers F926BXXS6GXBD and F711BXXS7GXBD, respectively. The update is currently spotted in Europe, but it is expected to be available in more countries in the next few days.

The latest update comes with the standard changelog, which doesn’t specify any significant change with the update, but it will provide some internal changes for the devices. More specifically, the update will provide some security-related enhancements to the devices.

Moreover, the update has brought more than 40 fixes; from them, 37 are included by Google, which provides the update to manage the fixes related to Android OS; along with this, nine more fixes are introduced by Samsung, which will improve the overall performance and stability for the Galaxy devices exclusively.

Suppose you use the Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Fold 3 in Europe. In that case, you can now easily update these devices by following simple steps:

  • Go to the system settings.
  • Tap on the software update.
  • Click on the download and install button.
  • If it shows a new update available, tap on the download button.
