Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 grabs March 2024 security patch in the US

Samsung has rolled out the March 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices in the US. Earlier, the company rolled out the successors, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in some carriers. 

The latest update brings the March 2024 security patch update, which will give you some security-related enhancements that will make the device less vulnerable. This means you will get more protection when using different functions of the device.

Notably, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 has now started getting the update in the US. The locked version of the device is getting an update with the firmware version number F711USQS6HXBD. Meanwhile, the unlocked variants are getting the same update with the firmware erosion number F711U1UES6HXBE.

According to the official documentation of Samsung, the March 2024 security patch update brings more than 40 fixes,whereas Google has brought 37 patches that address the security vulnerabilities regarding the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also introduced nine exclusive fixes that provide more improvements to the devices.

If you are concerned about the next One UI update, then your wait could be over this month. It is expected that the company will start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for eligible devices. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is also one of the eligible devices, which could bring some new features to enhance the user experience.

Coming back to the March 2024 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, if you are using the device in the US, then you can now check the update by following some simple steps: go to system settings, then tap on the software update option, then tap on the Download and Install option.
