Android Auto with Galaxy S24 encountered some issues in some cars

Android Auto is one of the most useful accessories for cars. It is Google’s product, but it doesn’t provide several new features that allow users to take advantage of many features like music streaming and communication services like WhatsApp. For entertainment purposes, it has also provided Audiobooks, Podcast apps, etc. However, the qualities of the application are hidden in the issues frequently encountered in Android Auto.

Android Auto issues appeared in some cars with Galaxy S24

As you know, Android Auto is available for several cars, and car manufacturers sometimes give some modified version of the infotainment system; the aim of providing the modified version is to make it work more optimized according to car functionality, but due to this modification, sometimes there are some problems arrived as well, the same is happening now, some cars from SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen are having issues, the Android Auto is not able to display the content on the car display.

Samsung is seriously taking the issue and has already officially announced ways to eliminate this problem. Here’s the official statement 

 “Some users have reported that they are unable to use Android Auto to connect their Galaxy S24 to their Volkswagen, Skoda, or SEAT cars. If you are experiencing this issue, try the steps below.

If none of these steps resolve your issue, please contact your Volkswagen, Skoda, or SEAT customer center or service center. These manufacturers have confirmed that they are working on software updates for the affected vehicles.”

The problem arrived from the car manufacturer’s side so that the software update will fix it soon. In the case of Volkswagen cars, the issue is encountered due to the IP address policy changes. Google has changed how the IP addresses are used for hotpot with Android 11, but this was not updated with the Volkswagen cars and is still using the older function, but now it is expected to be available.
