Threads borrowing a popular feature from Instagram

Threads is also a part of Meta, which is the parent company of Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The thread application is a very new application from Meta, which is designed to compete with the X (formerly Twitter); therefore, the company is frequently pushing new features for the application.

Thread users can now save the post

Like in Instagram,  users can easily save the post whatever they like by simply tapping on the save option located on the bottom right of the post. The same ability has now arrived for the Threads, which are undoubtedly the most requested feature of users. This is a crucial option for the social network, and particularly one based purely on the conversations and ideas of its digital inhabitants.

Adam Mosseri provides regular updates on the status of the platform and the new feature being tested. As far as the possibility of a feature attached to the user interface, it should be almost the same as Instagram.

Users can access the save button through a three-dot menu; with this feature, users can easily access the post later. Whenever they want to access something, they just need to search for the save option from their own profile options.

However, currently the feature is in the testing phase, so it will take at least a couple of weeks before it is implemented on the app and web version. I’m hoping that Meta could add more features like this to make it easier to use and better connected so it can easily develop an attractive social media platform.
