Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could support Faster UFS 4.1 storage

Published

on

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is first in line to take the floor in 2025, expected to bring a huge performance boost, the latest UFS 4.1 speeds, new AI tools, a decent design, an upgraded camera arrangement, and more.

It’s early to discuss the Galax S25 series, which will include three variants: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Leaks and rumors are blowing in the market regarding this upcoming flagship series. Now the new report says Samsung could support the latest UFS 4.1 speeds for the Galaxy S25 Ultra

If this report comes true, then the Galaxy S25 will be the first phone with UFS 4.1 storage, leading to faster performance than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is being speculated by a tipster on who shared a post suggesting UFS 4.1 support. However, it is yet to be clear whether the new upgrade applies to other Galaxy S25 models besides the Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy devices should need faster specs since the brand pushes more on-device AI capabilities to its phones, which ask for better RAM, instant processors, and, of course, faster storage. As more leaks emerge, a more detailed picture of how Samsung plans to accommodate the extra performance needs will come to light, but UFS 4.1 seems like a good step.

Reportedly, UFS 4.1 storage could offer a minor improvement over UFS 4.0. Somewhere, it seems like a temporary upgrade until the major jump to UFS 5.0 in 2027. However, UFS 4.0 is much faster, as it offers write speeds of up to 4200 MP per second. On the other hand, UFS 3.1 delivers 1,200 MB per second. It’s also worth noting that it was reported that the Galaxy S24 would get UFS 4.1, which unfortunately didn’t happen.

Despite daily phone tasks, UFS 4.1’s benefit lies in boosting AI tools. The faster storage will permit AI algorithms to access data faster, leading to instant responses and generation.

Samsung Introduces Titanium Yellow Color for Galaxy S24 Ultra

Published

on

Earlier this year, Samsung launched its Galaxy S24 series. Now the brand has expanded the color option of the Ultra variant of the series by introducing a titanium yellow color in India.

Samsung on X confirmed that a new Titanium Yellow color option for the Galaxy S24 Ultra is now available in India on the company’s official online shop. Initially, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 Ultra in half a dozen color variants in India. Out of which, three are online exclusive, including Titanium Blue, Titanium Green, and Titanium Orange.

Now the brand has added a new color option to the list called Titanium Yellow. With this addition, seven color options for the Galaxy S24 Ultra are available in India. However, this yellow color addition is not the latest option since it has already been available in other markets except India.

This Titanium Yellow costs the same as the rest of the color variants, starting at INR 129,999 for the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the 12GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB of internal storage variants are available for INR 139,999 or INR 159,999, respectively.

If you are a Samsung fan and looking forward to purchasing the Galaxy S24 Ultra, you can go through a new color option, Titanium Yellow, available on Samsung’s online shop.

The Titanium Yellow Galaxy S24 Ultra is just a new color addition; it features similar specs, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, the same camera setup, and a bundle of Galaxy AI features.

Samsung has new and different ideas for its future Foladble smartphones

Published

By

Samsung is aggressively working on bringing innovations, whether it’s about software or hardware, to Galaxy devices. It is quite relatable that impressing users with fixed-screen smartphones seems difficult. That’s the key reason why smartphone manufacturers are focusing on foldable and rollable-display smartphones.

Samsung is about to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the next Galaxy Unpacked event; both designs have already been leaked. According to the NerdStash, a patent was spotted that shed some light on the potential design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphone. The leaked design in the patent suggests that the future Galaxy Z Flip smartphone may feature only an external display that can extend.

The usual smartphones with constant displays can be bulky or have limited-size screens, but users demand more portable smartphones integrated with large screens. Now it seems that the new design will solve the problem. When folded, the smartphone is exceedingly portable and can easily fit in any pocket. Meanwhile, the unfolded and extended display delivered complete functionality to its users.

If the reports are to be believed, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold consists of three housings and a flexible display. A third section slides along the hinge and is expected to arrive, which allows a flexible display to expand or contract across these sections. This flexibility authorizes the device to transform its shape for particular uses. It is also reported that the new design will only feature an external display. There will be no internal display housed on current Galaxy Z Flip smartphones.

This new design will be beneficial to users since the device can be compact when needed and expand when you need a larger screen, and the independent folding and sliding mechanism permits you to adjust the device according to their needs.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6 Dummy Units Hint at Display Crease and Design Changes

Published

on

By

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 are on their way to take the floor at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10.

The new images of the prototype and dummy units of the devices come into existence from one of our colleagues, who is claiming to showcase crease and design. By the design of the reported images, it can be concluded that the crease cannot be like this.

The leaked images showcase the prototypes and dummy units made for just reference purposes on the device. However, it’s essential to remember that these are potential dummy units that just aim to represent the size and design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 and not the final product quality. Noticeably, the dummy device materials are cheaper and do not present the actual crease appearance.

It seems that the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold device will have a wider cover screen as compared to its predecessors. The width of the cover screen is extended by reducing the side bezel of the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The display ratio of the internal panel may also be upgraded to deliver a better user experience.

On the flip side, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 looks almost the same as its predecessor. Whether it’s the camera arrangement or the design of the cover screen, everything looks similar, and enhancements are expected to be seen in the hinge appearance as well as durability.

As already mentioned above, the brand will launch the next-generation foldable devices at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th. This time it is expected in Paris, France, right before the 2024 Olympics kick off. There will be more products, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7 series, Galaxy Ring, and Galaxy Buds 3 lineup.
