iPhone 16 Pro May Surpass Galaxy S24 as the Thinnest-Bezel Smartphone

Smartphone users have experienced a lot of instant changes from keypad phones to innovative touchscreen smartphones over the past decade. Now, it appears smartphone innovation is slowing down. The manufacturers are making tiny improvements each year; for instance, Apple is expected to make the iPhone 16 Pro by making the bezels even thinner.

If the new reports are to be believed, the well-reliable tipster Ice Universe hints that the iPhone 16 Pro will depose the Samsung Galaxy S24 and become the world’s thinnest-bezel smartphone. If this report comes true, then the iPhone 16 Pro’s bezels are narrower than the 1.52 mm presently offered by the Samsung Galaxy S24

This new report attests to previous reports that made almost similar claims: that Apple is looking forward to adopting the Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology with the iPhone 16 Pro’s record-breaking 1.55mm bezels. This could be achieved by putting more components under the display itself. The upcoming iPhone 16 series is expected to launch by the end of this year, potentially during a special event held in mid-September.

Apart from the thinner bezels, it seems that the Pro and Pro Max models could boast build sizes, improved cameras, superior batteries, and higher storage capacities. The upcoming A18 Pro chip could also power some exclusive iOS 18 AI features using an advanced neural engine. From the above discussion, it seems that the iPhone 16 Pro will reduce its bezel and strike the Galaxy S24 to become the world’s narrowest-bezel smartphone.
