Breaking: Galaxy S24 and S23 Receive Second May 2024 Update

Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the May 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 series devices, then expanded the update to more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series. The update hasn’t provided any significance for the devices; it only aims to strengthen the security of the devices. Now, within the same month, the company has rolled out a second update with the same May 2024 security patch.
As of writing, the latest update for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S23 series devices has been spotted in Thailand. It is coming with the firmware version number S92*BXXU2AXE4 and S91*BXXU5CXE1. Going into the changelog, the company hasn’t mentioned anything about the availability of the update, but in case you face any issues, you should update your device to the latest version.

In the last May 2024 patch update, several users reported some issues related to the battery draining and some bugs that affected the performance of the devices. Now, with the latest update, Samsung may try to remove them.
If you are using the Galaxy S24 series device in Thailand, you can now check the update by going to the software update menu in the system settings. Don’t be disappointed if you didn’t receive the update yet, as it takes time to reach every unit. If the update brings some crucial changes, then it will be available in more regions soon.
