More Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Foldables getting August 2024 update

Last week, Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 received the August 2024 security patch update in the U.S. with more expansion, the company has started rolling out new updates to more Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Foldabpes, including Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3

Now, all eligible Galaxy Z series devices grabbed the August 2024 update

Verizon has rolled out the Galaxy Z series devices’ August 2024 security patch update. Users who own the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting new updates with firmware version numbers F936USQS6FXGJ and F721USQS6FXGJ, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are getting an August 2024 security patch update with firmware version numbers F926USQS7IXG6 and F731USQS4CXG6, respectively.

One UI 6.1.1 will arrive separately

Earlier, it was expected that Samsung might include the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Foldables and Galaxy Tables in August. Still, now the company will provide the update separately. As with the August 2024 update, no additional One UI 6.1.1 changes arrive for any device.

How to update

Users who are using the Galaxy Z Foldables smartphones locked with Verizon can now check the latest update by going to the software update menu from the system settings.
