Samsung Could Soon Decide Which Google Apps to Preload on Galaxy Phones

Samsung Galaxy smartphones include several pre-installed applications from Google, Microsoft, and Meta, but soon this will no longer be the case, since the company will have the freedom to install selected Google app bloat on Galaxy Phones.
Currently, Samsung has a lack of control over Google app bloat on Galaxy phones, but soon it will get more power to select particular Google app bloat, as the DoJ proposed that Google should sell off Android and Chrome.
American-based multinational corporation Google, despite struggling, won’t easily lose its control over Android and Chrome. Currently, the brand has proposed a few tweaks that would shuffle the Android landscape.
Google is facing an antitrust case against Google for its monopoly in the Internet search engine market as the US Department of Justice proposed sweeping changes to how Google operates and suggested that Google should sell Android and Chrome.
To stand strong, Google, in response, proposed its remedies to reduce its monopoly in the search market, including additional flexibility for smartphone manufacturers to preload particular Google apps independently of preloading Google Chrome and Google Search. So, potentially, the Korean tech giant can preload Google Maps, Google Search, and YouTube but not ship its smartphones and tablets with Google Drive, Google Home, and YouTube Music. Apart from this, Google also proposes to give smartphone brands like Samsung more flexibility in reducing the number of pre-installed Google applications on their devices.
