Galaxy S25 Series Will Be the Last to Enjoy Free Galaxy AI

Samsung Galaxy S25 series will debut tomorrow at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California. Interestingly, it will be the last Galaxy-S lineup to get the Galaxy AI for free.

Samsung will introduce at least three variants under the Galaxy S25 series at the unpacked event as mentioned below:

  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra

Apart from these three variants, Samsung is also rumored to debut one more device under the same lineup called the Galaxy S25 Slim. The series will be powered with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and run Android 15-based One UI 7.

Free Galaxy AI Ends with S25 Series – What’s Next for Samsung?

The Galaxy S25 is the last Galaxy S lineup to feature a Galaxy AI for absolutely free. Samsung has already confirmed officially that the Galaxy AI is truly free till 2025; this means that from 2026, the AI-powered tools under the Galaxy Suite will ask you to pay for a subscription.

By this prospect, the Galaxy S25 series will be the last Galaxy S-lineup to get the Galaxy AI for free, since after this the company will debut the next-gen Galaxy S26 series in 2026 when the Galaxy AI will already be a paid service.

However, Samsung has more flagship Galaxy devices in the line to debut this year, except the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE, but they belong to the Galaxy Z lineup.

Samsung has yet to announce exactly how much the Galaxy AI will ask to pay and whether the subscription package will be monthly or for a longer period.
