Samsung began the March 2025 security update rollout with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 devices, and now the patch has hit the company’s previous flagships, the S24 series, and is currently going live in South Korea.
The latest March 2025 security update started rolling out for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra and is recognized with the S921NKSS5AYB1, S926NKSS5AYB1, and S928NKSS5AYB1 build numbers, respectively.
The update is expected to follow more eligible regions shortly; while being a security patch, the software, however, doesn’t introduce any major features and changes; rather, it primarily focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.

It integrates a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version in order to provide a safer and more secure user experience while also protecting the device against external attacks.
On the other hand, the software further adds stability to the overall system behavior and brings various performance optimizations that eventually lead to a smoother, more stable, and more efficient functionality. Since Samsung has started delivering the latest security patches, the update will gradually reach more Galaxy users in different parts of the world.
Now that the March 2025 patch is available for Galaxy S24 series owners in South Korea, users can download the latest version on their devices when the update arrives.
