Samsung Health update to bring convenience in monitoring sleep pattern

Samsung is expanding its Health app ways, offering a new One UI 7 health update to enhance users’ experience by adding a few convenient insights into sleep patterns.

The Korean tech giant recently announced that it is all set to release the stable One UI 7 software version next month and will expand the beta program for some selected Galaxy devices from 6 March.

Meanwhile, the company has shared some convenient insights into the sleep patterns of Samsung Health and Galaxy Watch users and will also release a Health update later this month for One UI 7 users.

Previously, Samsung acknowledged the sleep patterns of Health users around and during the night of Daylight Saving Time (DST) and found how these time/clock changes hit different age groups. During the survey, it found that people went to bed nearly 30 minutes later and woke up 19 minutes earlier than usual, on average, on the day of DST.

Now to make a convenient move regarding this, Samsung has shared some tips and will also release a new Samsung Health update which will bring a Sleep Environment Report that allows users to create an ideal sleep environment via guidance and analysis of key factors that influence sleep quality; for instance temperature, CO2, humidity, and more on Galaxy devices running One UI 7.

The update will improve the Energy Score function and introduce a new Activity Consistency metric. Apart from this the company also recommends Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring users to try the Sleep Coaching feature to get a more personalized sleep coaching program ahead of World Sleep Day and Daylight Saving Time.
