Samsung is letting more Galaxy phone and tablet users test its One UI 7.0 software early. Instead of releasing the final version, the company is opening its beta program (a test version for users to try before the official release) to more devices starting March 6, 2025.

  • On March 6, the beta will open for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
  • By late March, the beta will expand to the Galaxy S23 seriesGalaxy Tab S10 tablets, and the Galaxy A55.

Samsung says the stable (final) version of One UI 7.0 will start rolling out in April 2025. It’s likely the update will be released in stages rather than all at once. The company expects all eligible devices to get the update by June 2025 (end of Q2).

The Galaxy S24 series was the first to test One UI 7.0, starting in December 2024. Samsung has since released multiple beta updates to fix bugs and improve performance.
