Samsung starts May 2025 patch for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4

Samsung’s May 2025 security patch is rolling out for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 units, right after receiving the ongoing One UI 7 stable update.
Meanwhile, several Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 owners took it to Samsung’s official community in order to report that they have been receiving a new update that apparently integrates the latest May 2025 security patch, while the update for both the foldables has been identified with the build numbers, F936NKSS6HYE2 and F721NKSS6HYE2, respectively.
While the update for Samsung’s 4th generation foldables is currently spotted in the company’s home country, South Korea, its availability in more regions is expected soon in the near future.

Well, the latest security patch; however, doesn’t list any noticeable features or changes; rather it significantly focuses on various bug fixes and improving the device’s overall security and core functionality.
It details all the key fixes for security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats and harms. At the same time, the update adds stability and reliability to the entire system behaviour and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually leads to a more smooth, stable and optimized experience.
Beyond this, Samsung has already delivered One UI 7 stable update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 a couple of weeks ago that significantly added a host of features and other relevant upgrades such as more improved Galaxy AI, highly customizable home screen widgets, simplified UI and more.
