Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7: Here’s Everything We Know So Far

Samsung has already started preparing itself for the upcoming July 9th Galaxy Unpacked event, which will be bringing the next-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, to the podium. While the Galaxy audience has already been hearing about various leaks and rumors about the upcoming foldables, here’s all that has happened so far!

From reports coming out that Samsung might launch Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 alongside Z Flip FE to more design changes, Samsung’s newer foldables are supposed to take the entire user experience to the next level.

It’s already confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 will debut with One UI 8 out of the box, which will run Android 16 on top, making them the first ever foldable models to be launched with the newest major OS. The phones will feature an excellent combination of both Samsung’s One UI 8 and Google’s Android 16. At the same time, it’s already confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is rumored to feature Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chip.

Coming to the design concept, there were reports claiming that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is supposed to be the slimmest member of the Galaxy foldable family, while recently Samsung has also shared a short glimpse of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 teaser, highlighting its ultra-slim design, which looks promising and offers a convenient in-hand feel.

On the other hand, it’s also reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature slimmer bezels around the inner display. Also, a bunch of renders have already been leaked so far, including the stylish side profile renders, images showcasing color variants, and images of Galaxy Z Flip 7 depicting their outer look and design.

Now, coming to the camera specifications, since the details are so scarce at this point in time, perhaps the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will not arrive with any major camera upgrade. Also, Samsung seems to be ditching 4x or higher zoom options as well.

Primarily, Samsung is reportedly planning to power the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with the regular 4400mAh battery pack while also looking towards changing the charging technology as well. It’s rumored that the folding model will use a silicon carbon battery similar to the Galaxy S26 series. At the same time, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have a 4300mAh battery, slightly higher than the Z Flip 6 model.

More leaks provide a few additional features that are supposed to make their way to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. These include the reports that the foldables will be enhanced with Gemini Live, support satellite connectivity, have a half-year free Gemini Advanced subscription, and have free Google AI Pro access.

Lastly, other additional details include pricing details, where, according to the reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with 256GB storage will cost 2,227 euros, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with 512GB storage will cost 1,425 euros. Whereas the storage details include that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM + 1TB internal storage, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will consist of 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage.
