Samsung Planning Smart Glasses Launch for 2026, Reports Suggest

Samsung is looking forward to opening its new smart glasses series, initially by debuting two types of display-free smart glass models next year.
For so long, the Korean tech giant has been working to launch smart glasses by the end of 2026, which are anticipated to have deeper AI integration.Meanwhile, a new report revealed that the company will introduce two types of smart glasses together next year, maybe in October.
A report from Newsworks claims that under the hood, Samsung is developing a pair of display-free smart glasses. The key focus regarding the glasses is to make them lighter and more practical for everyday use. However, the report hasn’t mentioned whether the developing pair of smart glasses will be a part of one lineup or introduce each one dedicatedly.
Regarding this, a Samsung official suggests that its smart glasses are more useful than its upcoming XR headset, as they can be worn around, and stated, “This is a factor that will lead to more consumers purchasing this product.”
According to previous reports, the glasses are expected to feature a camera, microphones, and a speaker similar to Meta AI Glasses and could also be compatible with clicking images and videos, answering general questions using an AI assistant, and being coupled with your Galaxy smartphone. It’s expected that Samsung could use its dedicated software rather than Google’s Android platform.
Samsung has yet to release any official details regarding its coming smart glasses or even confirm their existence, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked report regarding a pair of smart glasses coming next year will come true.
