Samsung Galaxy smartwatches come with features like tracking your fitness activity, keeping tabs on your health, and letting you utilize a number of useful applications for connecting people and listening to music. It has become an essential gadget for users through its fitness monitoring options, GPS tracking technology, etc. However, there are some issues that are still kept unsolved, which becomes a difficulty in their usage. One of these issues is that users of smartwatches with tattoos on their arms frequently experience issues with the sensor. The sensor on the watch is hampered when the user has a tattoo on the wrist where they are wearing it, which turns out to be a problem that cannot be ignored.

This problem is not something related to Samsung; both the Galaxy Watch and Apple Watch share these kinds of problems. The addition of a new setting feature in the Galaxy Watches is an attempt from Samsung’s side to put an end to this problem and to make their brand of smartwatches more efficient among other ones. A new wearing detection setting will be included in the existing Galaxy Watch 5 and the forthcoming Galaxy Watch 6 series.

Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 5 get Google Map improvements

This information was obtained from an official person at Watch App Manager, who opened up about this issue. Coming the point when this feature will come into effect, the Watch App Manager has declared to release this new functionality by the second part of this year. The upcoming series of smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 6, will receive this function first, followed by the Galaxy Watch 5. Since there has been no mention of Galaxy Watch 4 anywhere, it hints to await official information.

According to the source from Korea, the Watch App Manager penned down, “If you do not receive notification due to a tattoo, the team in charge is working on adding the wearing detection setting, and it will be improved through an update in the second half of the year. After updating, if you turn off the wearing detection setting, you will be able to receive notifications regardless of whether or not you have a tattoo on your wrist. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to leave a message on Members.”
