Samsung MultiStar Update Brings Cover Widget to Galaxy Z Flip 5

The Korean Giant updated its Good Lock module, MultiStar, with a new Galaxy Z Flip 5 cover display widget feature. It indicates that Samsung is working on new cover widgets for the Flip 5, including the weather, flight boarding pass, calendar, call history, battery level of connected devices, and incoming messages. Samsung MultiStar module 6.5.10 version started to roll out via Galaxy Store.

The MultiStar is a Good Lock module that lets you customize several multitasking-related features on a Galaxy smartphone, like multi-window screen zoom, the ability to focus on both apps in multi-window mode, turn on/off the Pop-up view action, and more.

According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.26-inch cover display, significantly larger than the 1.9-inch cover display on the Flip 4. This means that users will have more screen space to interact with, which could make it easier to use the MultiStar module and other cover widgets.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to be launched on July 26th, so we should learn more about the device’s cover widgets in the coming weeks.
