Samsung One UI 6.1’s new Always-on Display feature sightly saves your battery

Samsung has recently introduced its latest flagship series device, the Galaxy S24 with One UI 6.1 out of the box. The company hasn’t provided any new hardware specifications for the devices, but it has brought some new features in the software that bring all-new features for the devices. Here, the Always-on Display function is also one of them, which has grabbed some innovations.
In the earlier article, we covered wallpaper compatibility for the Always-on Display. For starters, it is a new function that allows users to set the wallpaper on the AOD. Along with the expansion, there are some new options added in the settings for managing the function.
Samsung One UI 6.1 Always-on Display have new ‘Auto’ feature
In the setting of Always-on Display, there is a new option available called ‘Auto’ that offers flexibility for AOD to turn off when the device is placed in a dark place like a pocket, purse, or dark room. This will ultimately provide a longer, better life if you are not using the phone.

Along with this, a minor change also happened where the names of different options changed, such as Show always is now always, Show for new notifications is converted to for new notifications, and Show as schedule is converted to As schedule.
Apart from the AOD function, the One UI 6.1 has brought several new functions, including camera sharing, lock screen notification, adaptive color tone, creative wallpaper, and advanced features. If you want to explore full information about the changes, then you can check out the dedicated article.
