
Samsung has rolled out the March 2024 security patch update for several Galaxy devices; initially, it has focused on providing the update for the high-end Galaxy devices. Now, it has turned its focus to midrange devices.
Notably, the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy Quantum 3 are getting new updates in South Korea, carrying the firmware version number A336NKSS6DXC1 and M536SKSS5DXC1, respectively. The latest update for these devices comes in a standard software package of approx 250MB.
The March 2024 security patch update will enhance the device’s security mechanism. In other words, the device will receive more enhancements for its workings with a strengthened security mechanism.
With the latest update, they will introduce a total of 46 patches. Google introduced 37 fixes, while Samsung introduced 9 other patches. For your information, the patches introduced by Google will address the issues found in Android devices, while the patches introduced by Samsung exclusively fix the issues found in Galaxy devices.
