Samsung sending April 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S7 Series
After introducing the April 2024 security patch update to flagship device tables, including the Galaxy Tab S9 series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, the company has now started rolling out the update to older tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S7 series.
Notably, the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are getting the update with the firmware version number DXD1 (last letters). With the latest update, the drive is getting some enhancements for security, which will make the device less vulnerable to external threats.
Going to the details, Google has added 27 patches that will improve the overall security of the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 more patches that exclusively improve Galaxy devices’ functionality.
Moreover, the update has also brought some extra improvements that will boost the performance and stability of the devices. If you are having any issues since updating the last update, then the latest update may address them and provide a more seamless experience.
If you are using the Galaxy Tab S7 series devices in Europe or Latin American countries, you should start getting the update notification. You can also check the update manually from the software update menu via system settings.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S7 series back in 2020. The device came with Android 10; later, it grabbed three more major updates; and with Android 13, it is no longer eligible to get any new major updates, but it is still eligible to get some more security patch updates for at least this year.
