Samsung distributes April 2024 security patch to Galaxy A12 Nacho

Samsung has already introduced the April 2024 security patch update to almost all Galaxy devices that belong to the midrange and flagship range devices, now it has started rolling  out the update for the entry-level devices and now it has started rolling out the update for Galaxy A12 nacho.

As per the information, the international version of Galaxy A12 Nacho has started getting the April 2024 security patch, users can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number A127FXXSBDXD2.

The Galaxy A12 Nacho is listed under the biannual security patch update category, therefore it is eligible to get only two security patch updates per year. The April 2024 update is the first security update for the devices.

If you are a One UI fan, don’t be too excited as the update will not provide any significant changes for the devices, but if you are concerned about your data, you should update the device to the latest version.

To update the Galaxy A12 Nacho to the latest version, you need to go to the system settings and then tap on the software menu, here, if it shows a new one, tap on the download button, and it will start downloading and get installed automatically.

Galaxy A12 Nacho was released back in 2021, it came with Android 11 preinstalled. Samsung has promised to provide software support for at least three years. The company has already rolled out the two major updates and now the device is no longer eligible to get any major updates but it still gets some security patch updates.
