Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ receives April 2024 security patch in Europe
Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security patch for almost all the high-end devices, and now it is focusing on providing updates to affordable-range devices. For instance, earlier it distributed the security patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 series; now it has started serving the update to the affordable tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
Notably, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are getting an April 2024 security patch update in Europe. Users who own the 5G variant devices can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers X516BXXS3BXD6 and X616BXXS3BXD6, respectively. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi variants of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are getting a new update with the firmware version numbers X510BXXS3BXD6 and X610BXXS3BXD6, respectively.
According to the official documentation, the April 2024 security patch could bring more than 40 fixes. In these, Google has added 27 more fixes, and along with this, there are 17 more fixes that are introduced by Samsung, which exclusively provide support for Galaxy devices.
Moreover, the latest update may also provide some extra improvements and stability by changing the internal functions of the devices. But as far as its significance, the user will not get any important changes for the device. In case you are facing any issues while using any function, you should also update your device to the latest version, as it may also fix them.
