Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Fixes Coming with One UI 6.1.1 Update

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most appreciated smartphones in terms of camera hardware and software; however, after using the device for a couple of months now, users are facing several issues with the camera software. Now, the good news is that the company will soon release a bug fix update in the next few weeks.

The Galaxy S24 ultra-camera fix is near

Earlier in April, it was expected that the company would provide the camera fix update with the April 2024 update, but later a popular tipster, Ice Universe, claimed that the update was shifted to June. Now that it has been reclaimed, it will be available with the One UI 6.1.1, which is on the way to arrive next month. The tipster has shared a screenshot of the new firmware for the Ultra variant as S928BXXU2AXEB.

Several users have faced different issues related to camera software, such as faulty white balance, the camera struggling to accurately render followers, and the telephoto image also creating movement, which lacks the quality of the photos. On the other side, some users also experience overexposure issues and an abnormal red color. So it is expected that the Korean giant will fix these issues in the next few days.

However, there is no confirmation available about the exact date of availability of the update; it is expected that the update will be available before the release of the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones. For your information, the sixth generation foldable will be introduced at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which is expected to be organized on July 10.

The Korean firm ‘Samsung’ is actively busy with the One UI 6.1.1 update, which is supposed to be introduced on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. This update is expected to upgrade the outdoor camera performance of the Galaxy S24. 

One UI 6.1.1 is reported to bring a new upgrade to the Galaxy S24’s camera to enhance the capturing experience. The Galaxy S24 users who are facing the overexposure issue with the with the Galaxy S24 Ultra should have patience since the brand will soon improve the issue. This is being speculated by a tipster named IceUniverse, who stated that the Korean giant will improve the overexposure issues of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. 

Usually, this issue occurs when brighter objects shoot in sunlight conditions. The upcoming update is reportedly expected to optimize camera performance in the Galaxy S24 series. This new improvement will surely enhance the camera experience for users. In the auto mode, the camera will automatically brighten objects used during sunlight. Noticeably, the implementation of the correction is not quite accurate, resulting in a brightened image. 

If you want the actual exposure, you will need to manually reduce the brightness. Apart from the camera upgrade, the One UI 6.1.1 update will also bring dozens of AI features. It has already been reported that a Samsung moderator claimed that the One UI 6.1.1 update will be equivalent to One UI 6.1, and this time the giant could offer the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 series. 

The brand will introduce the One UI 6.1.1 update on the upcoming foldable devices at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10 in Paris. It is expected that the giant may start rolling out new features and enhancements to select older models in August this year.

A tipster on shared a list of Galaxy AI features to arrive with the One UI 6.1.1 update. Let’s take a closer look at what new AI-powered features are on the way to join the Galaxy AI package. 

The first feature suggested by a tipster to arrive with the One UI 6.1.1 update is the AI-powered S Pen drawing and creation; it lets you do relatively simple drawings, and Galaxy AI will recreate your image with enhanced detail and creativity. The next feature is enhanced customization of portrait shots. This will use AI to style the subject and background of your portrait shots for extra vibrant and unique images. 

The brand could also offer multiple AI video features, for instance, the removal of the subject in a video, which lets you remove unwanted details such as people, plants, and more in select videos. Also, an option to enhance low-light performance is to upgrade the lighting in post with AI by removing sound and static, improving colors and contrast, and lightening the overall scenarios. Apart from all these features, there are many more on the list to arrive at the One UI 6.1.1 update. 

However, Samsung has yet to reveal the official list of Galaxy AI features arriving with One UI 6.1.1. For now, the report is diverting the user’s attention to these expected AI features to arrive with the upcoming update.

One UI 6.1.1 to Fix Clock Alignment in Control Center’s Top Bar

In an earlier report, we discussed the issue of character misalignment. Now here we got to know one more issue related to the time and date disbalance. An user has reported that he is getting an annoying imbalance between time and date when it lowers the top bar.

According to the user, when he installed the One UI 6.1 on his Galaxy S23 FE device, he encountered an imperfect alignment between date and time. It is reported that the clock is slightly raised in comparison to the date, which is making it unbalanced and annoying.

It is worth noticing that the issue is occurring with the default font of the Samsung, while with other fonts it seems to be balanced. The user has also shared three screenshots where we can clearly see the difference.

In response to the issue, Samsung has confirmed that the Quick Panel manager team is reviewing the symptoms that have been reported by users. He has also suggested waiting for the fix until the next One UI update arrives, i.e., One UI 6.1.1. So if you are also facing the same issue on any Galaxy device, then wait for the next major update. As far as the next update is concerned, it is expected that the company will provide the One UI 6.1.1 update in the upcoming month after releasing the latest Galaxy Foldables.
