Verizon rolls out One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy Tab A9+ in the USA

Earlier this month, Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.1 to several units of the Galaxy Tab A9 series, including Europe and Asia. Now,  with the latest development, the company has made it live in the US on the Verizon network and is expected to be available more in the next few days.

Notably, the One UI 6.1 update is now live for the locked variant of the Galaxy A9+ smartphone; it is spotted on the Verizon network, and users can identify the latest update by the firmware version number X218USQU2CXE6. With the latest update, you will get support for several new features that will enhance the experience of using the device. It is worth noticing that the update is coming with an older security update in the form of a May 2024 security patch.

One UI 6.1 features 

With the latest One UI 6.1 update, several new features have arrived. According to the official changelog, the latest update has introduced new battery protection, which will extend your battery’s lifespan. Now you can customize alarms, change the background with your own images or videos, and tap the clock to change the style. In the Gallery application, you can copy and paste images.

If you are using the Galaxy Tab A9+ smartphone in the US, you can check the update by following these simple steps: Go to system settings, now tap the software update option. Here,  touch the first option, “download and install.”  Wait until it finishes searching to see if the update is available, then tap on the download button.
