Samsung has started rolling out the June 2024 security patch update with the Galaxy S24 smartphones; later, it started serving updates to other eligible devices. However, it is worth noticing that some units of the flagship device and now the Middle Eastern units are still getting new updates in the US. 

Samsung brings the June 2024 update for Galaxy S24 to Middle Eastern countries

Samsung has rolled out a June 2024 security patch update in several Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Users who own the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S921BXXS2AXED, S926BXXS2AXED, and S928BXXS2AXED, respectively. The update is coming for software packages smaller than 500 MB, which indicates that there will be no major changes for the update.

June 2024 update: what’s new?

The June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 will not provide any significant changes for the devices, but being the latest security patch, it will provide some internal enhancements for devices to strengthen the security. If you want to stay protected against external threats, then you should go for the latest update.

If you are using the Galaxy S24 device in Middle Eastern countries, then you can do it now by going to the software update menu from the system settings. If you haven’t received any such updates on your device yet, then wait for some hours as it may take some time to reach every available device unit in particular regions.
