Samsung has started its internal testing for another One UI update exclusively for its bigger screen device, which is the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Samsung is internally testing the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This update will bring new features, some improvements, and notable changes, but only for foldable devices and tablets. On the other side, it recently released the One UI 6.1 update to all its eligible phones and tablets. The internal testing hints that soon it will roll out the One UI 6.1.1 update.

The internal testing of One UI 6.1.1 for both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 is being speculated by a tipster on X who shared a post and revealed that the testing for both devices has been spotted on the official Samsung server along with the version number. The tipster mentioned the versions, which are mentioned below:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 5 (F946BXXU2DXF1)
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5 (F731BXXU2DXF)

Although it’s the first internal spotting of the One UI 6.1.1 update we are discussing, the brand could test various versions of the update for both devices before releasing a beta version of it to the smartphone. So, it may take at least a couple of weeks for Samsung to release the beta version of the new software on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is expected that the stable version of One UI 6.1.1 will arrive near the launch of the next-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, which will take the floor at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in early July.
