One UI 6.1.1 Testing Starts for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5

Published

on

Samsung has started its internal testing for another One UI update exclusively for its bigger screen device, which is the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Samsung is internally testing the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. This update will bring new features, some improvements, and notable changes, but only for foldable devices and tablets. On the other side, it recently released the One UI 6.1 update to all its eligible phones and tablets. The internal testing hints that soon it will roll out the One UI 6.1.1 update.

The internal testing of One UI 6.1.1 for both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 is being speculated by a tipster on X who shared a post and revealed that the testing for both devices has been spotted on the official Samsung server along with the version number. The tipster mentioned the versions, which are mentioned below:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 5 (F946BXXU2DXF1)
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5 (F731BXXU2DXF)

Although it’s the first internal spotting of the One UI 6.1.1 update we are discussing, the brand could test various versions of the update for both devices before releasing a beta version of it to the smartphone. So, it may take at least a couple of weeks for Samsung to release the beta version of the new software on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. It is expected that the stable version of One UI 6.1.1 will arrive near the launch of the next-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, which will take the floor at the next Galaxy Unpacked event in early July.

Samsung has already teased the Galaxy Unpacked event for its 2024 flagship foldable launch on July 10. Along with that, Samsung will also introduce the latest One UI 6.1.1 skin, which will carry new features with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 out of the box.

The Korean tech giant is always trying to make its devices better, whether it’s through hardware changes or software updates. Recently, the One UI 6.1.1 version has started working with the Good Lock Theme Park application.

However, One UI 6.1.1 is still in development, and it is great that Samsung’s Theme Park feature works with One UI 6.1.1.

Samsung released a new update to improve the Samsung Theme Park. The build number for the update is 1.1.0.14. The update improves quick panel color, bug fixes for the app icon transparency issue, and stability improvements.

To download them, simply go to the Galaxy Store on your Samsung smartphone and go to the “Menu > Updates” section. If you want to try the app for the first time, you can download Samsung Good Lock by searching inside the manufacturer’s virtual store; in the first case, you will then have to look for the Theme Park module in the list of apps.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most appreciated smartphones in terms of camera hardware and software; however, after using the device for a couple of months now, users are facing several issues with the camera software. Now, the good news is that the company will soon release a bug fix update in the next few weeks.

The Galaxy S24 ultra-camera fix is near

Earlier in April, it was expected that the company would provide the camera fix update with the April 2024 update, but later a popular tipster, Ice Universe, claimed that the update was shifted to June. Now that it has been reclaimed, it will be available with the One UI 6.1.1, which is on the way to arrive next month. The tipster has shared a screenshot of the new firmware for the Ultra variant as S928BXXU2AXEB.

Several users have faced different issues related to camera software, such as faulty white balance, the camera struggling to accurately render followers, and the telephoto image also creating movement, which lacks the quality of the photos. On the other side, some users also experience overexposure issues and an abnormal red color. So it is expected that the Korean giant will fix these issues in the next few days.

However, there is no confirmation available about the exact date of availability of the update; it is expected that the update will be available before the release of the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones. For your information, the sixth generation foldable will be introduced at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which is expected to be organized on July 10.
