Samsung is looking towards expanding the latest One UI 7 stable update to even more Galaxy devices; at the same time, the company is also delivering the April 2025 security update to its models in different regions as well.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G and S21 FE (2022), Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A23 units have started receiving the latest April Security Patch in the US, carrying G990USQSFGYD2 (5G) and G990U2SQSDGYD2 (2022), A536VSQSFEYD1, and A236VSQS8DYD1 build numbers, respectively.
Specifically, the update for all these devices is currently available for the Verizon carrier-locked units in the US, while the company will expand it to more carriers and regions in the near future.
Although the security patch doesn’t mention any major features and changes, rather it significantly focuses on improving the device’s overall security and core functionality. It brings plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more secure user experience, all while keeping the device safe against external threats.
Further, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually provide a more efficient, smooth, and stable experience to the users.
